Becoming a CPA isn’t just about passing the exam—it’s about stepping into a career that can take you anywhere. And we’ve got your back from day one.

AcctoFi (formerly the Accounting Education Foundation) is the newly reimagined charitable partner of TXCPA, focused on opening doors and removing financial roadblocks for future CPAs like you.

What You Get:

  • Up to $2,500 Scholarships for students at 4-year universities

  • Up to $1,000 Scholarships for students at select community colleges offering the extra 30 hours for licensure

  • A direct line to mentors, connections, and career-building opportunities

  • A chance to be part of something bigger—a statewide network of CPAs who actually want to see you succeed

Who’s Eligible?

You can apply if you:

  • Are a TXCPA student member (it's free—join here)

  • Are an accounting major planning to become a Texas CPA

  • Attend an eligible Texas college or university

  • Will have 90+ credit hours and at least 15 accounting credit hours completed by August 31

  • Graduate no earlier than Spring 2027

  • Have a 3.25+ GPA in accounting courses

  • Are enrolled full-time (or part-time if working and CPA exam-eligible)

  • Submit a reference from a professor or department chair
